i like to type things...

     I added some message boards today and gave my home page a little personality. Keep reading for some of my short stories and hopefully some of my "art". As far as events today: nothing. Ya know, this post is just more of an update notification rather than an actual blog. If you're starved for info, my cousin is coming to visit today. I have to clean up the house, mainly my room but I doubt I'll ever get around to it. Regardless of if I get my room clean or not, we should have fun. Well, anyways, happy last day of July day!

lemon-filled donuts

     Wooo, what a great day! Some friends of mine and I got together and drove to Jackson today. Uh, Jackson, MS. We went to the mall and ate some great food, then walked around looking like slack-jawed yokels. We went to Game Spot and stared in awe of Soul Caliber 2. Ahhhhh...such a freaking AWESOME GAME!!! ... I umm..ok. So, then my friend had to buy an expensive shirt for reasons I didn't pay attention to. After that, we walked around for about an hour more; looking at stuff, laughing and generally acting dumb. That's always the best.

     It rained a lot too. Rain rules.

Relaxation...

     Ah, Sunday! It's probably my most favorite day. We had one of those heavy rains that lasts for about an hour so I took some time off from my "busy" schedule of napping and eating to take a walk. A stroll in the rain always relaxes me and Sundays are always so easy. Ahh...
    I watched the Godfather on HBO and that was wonderful. I had almost forgotten how very cool that movie is. Al Pachino is golden but I'm always very annoyed when Marlon Brando has his long winded speeches. His voice is just something that cuts through me when heard for long periods. Am I alone in this?

New toy!

     Today I bought a cell phone and dude, it is sooo cool! It's a Nokia 3560 w/ a full color screen. For a backwater geek like me, that's pretty damn awesome. For my first cell phone ya know, I think I did a pretty good job. What do you think?

A new day, not quite what I expected

     Originally, I had planned on doing some things today. I need a hair cut, quite badly I think, and I have to get fitted for a tux. My bother is getting married and he's asked me to be one of his "groomsmen" (whatever that is.) The wedding is in October so I'm hyped for the parties that will no doubt go down. It's so cool that he's finally getting married too. I just hope he doesn't turn into lamer. ;) So, the day has morphed from active to lazy. I'm not complaining though...no way. I'll just chill out and watch a movie or something.

Oh! And I made a new friend today. She's my girlfriend's friend, and she's really nice.

More later if any developments...uh...develop. Word.

Opening Day and College Registration

    Today the site opened. Besides the obvious, I also registered for another fun-filled semester at Holmes Community College. Ah, good ole HCC; never has there been such a wretched hive of scum and villainy. The good sides are, it is free and I can finally take some art courses that were never offered at my High School. All I have to do is go to band practices and football games. Yeah so, things could be much worse. I'm really looking forward to the dorm LAN parties the most. So far there are 3 of us ready and willing to frag or slash at a moment's notice and you just gotta love that kind of reliability. I've also heard whispers of a mysterious new fellow who also loves to kill things. Viva la LAN!
